A wife looks at her husband and gently asks,
โDarling, if I passed away, would you ever remarry?โ
He pauses thoughtfully. โEventually, yes. After grievingโฆ I think companionship helps people heal.โ
She nods slowly. โAnd would she live in our house?โ
โWell,โ he says, โweโve put so much into this home. I wouldnโt sell it. So yes, she probably would.โ
โAnd would she sleep in our bed?โ
He sighs. โItโs a $2,000 bed, practically brand new. It would make sense.โ
The wife narrows her eyes slightly. โAnd would she use my golf clubs?โ
Without missing a beat, he smiles and says,
โOh no, my dearโฆ sheโs left-handed.โ
