Seven (7) Things That Clog Your Pores And Cause Acne

Everyone has tiny openings in their skin for releasing sweat and oil, known as pores. However, these pores can be more temperamental for some people than others.

While they serve the essential function of allowing sweat and oil to escape, helping to regulate body temperature and keep the skin lubricated, they can also become clogged. When pores get clogged, it can lead to various skin issues like acne, blackheads, and whiteheads.

For some individuals, clogged pores happen more frequently due to factors like genetics, hormonal changes, or environmental influences. Those with oilier skin types are particularly prone to this issue, as excess sebum production can easily block the pores

. Additionally, external factors such as pollution, makeup, and skincare products can contribute to the problem by introducing debris that mixes with natural oils and dead skin cells.

Managing clogged pores involves maintaining a consistent skincare routine, including regular cleansing, exfoliating, and using non-comedogenic products that do not block pores. By understanding the causes and taking proactive steps, individuals can better manage their skin health and reduce the occurrence of clogged pores.
