This past Sunday, Jennifer Lopez made sure to celebrate her husband, Ben Affleck, for Father’s Day. The singer and actress to to her Instagram stories to pay tribute to the man she calls her husband.

She shared a picture of Affleck from the time he shot the film Pearl Harbor. The picture showed Affleck in the pilot seat, and over the picture Lopez wrote, “Our Hero. Happy Father’s Day.”

The fact that she still shared this picture and a message to her husband, Ben Affleck makes it seem like the two might still have a fighting chance. Considering the couple is rumored to be splitting up, this action can seem surprising to a lot of people.

54-year-old Jennifer Lopez did not share the picture on her Instagram feed. While Lopez does not share any children Affleck, the couple are step-parents to one another children from previous marriages.

Affleck is a father to three children: Violet, Seraphina, and Samuel. He welcomed all three of them while he had been married to their mother, actress Jennifer Garner.

Lopez is the mother to twins Emme and Max. She shares the twins with her ex-husband, singer Marc Anthony.

This is not the first time Lopez has appreciated her man on the occasion of Father’s Day. To mark the occasion last year, she penned a sweet ‘Daddy Appreciation Post’ to Affleck accompanied by a shirtless picture of him.

Now, the tribute this year comes amid weeks of speculation that the couple has called it quits. The pair tied the knot in 2022 after rekindling their romance 20 years after their first engagement broke off.

But it seems not everyone is convinced that the couple is still together despite the united front they have been putting up in front of the public. Since May this year, there have been rumors that the couple is now living apart and considering separation. However, they were recently spotted together at Affleck’s son’s elementary school graduation.

The speculation was still not put to rest as it came to light that the couple had quietly listed their $60 million Southern California home. And Lopez has been seen doing viewings for a new home, all on her own.

Earlier this month, a source revealed, “Jen and Ben have been living separate lives but have not officially separated yet. At this point, they are just doing their own thing. They went into their relationship very optimistic and thought things could change, but they haven’t.”

The source went on to share, “Jen is touring houses and shopping around for her own home. She has been leaning on her mom, sisters, and kids during this transitional period.” This referred to the singer’s two sisters, Lynda and Leslie Ann and mother, Guadalupe Rodríguez.
