Despite leading an otherwise healthy lifestyle, Esra was drawn into this perilous practice during a sleepover with friends. Tragically, her decision to inhale aerosol deodorant led to cardiac arrest and irreversible brain damage.

Reflecting on the incident, Esra’s mother recounted, “It was just a typical evening with her friends. We always kept tabs on her whereabouts and company. We’ve lost sleep, lost our appetite, lost our smiles—this isn’t who we are… And it’s not just us; the entire community is reeling.”
