Here’s what happened today with Trump at Pennsylvania rally

Following reports of gunfire at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, Donald Trump’s campaign released a statement claiming the candidate was “fine” after being removed from the platform.

In a statement, White House spokesman Steven Cheung expressed gratitude to law enforcement and first responders for their prompt actions during this horrific incident. A nearby medical center is checking him out, and he’s doing OK. Stay tuned for more information.

“The former President is safe,” the Secret Service announced.

At his final rally before Monday’s opening of the Republican National Convention, the former president and presumed Republican nominee was displaying a graphic of border crossing numbers when the sound of banging could be heard throughout the audience. The president appeared to be reaching for his neck with his right hand. His face looked like it was covered in blood.
