Susan Lucci was born as the daughter of Jeanette, a nurse, and a construction contractor, Victor. Lucci was a cheerleader in her school.

She was also a great student who became the honour student all of her high school years. Her love for acting led her to study drama at Marymount College in Tarrytown, New York.

In her senior year, Lucci reached to the finals in Miss Universe pageant. But her school studies didn’t let her to compete, as she gave importance to her college. She left the show and chose her academic career.

No matter what she chose in her life, Lucci always celebrated her father. Back in 2015, she shared a post on her social media, where she captioned it as, “He was the best father a girl could ever have—I am so lucky to have had him as mine!”

She loved her father, and showed it in the pictures she shared from her social media account. She later shared the moments she had experienced with her father as, ice skating, horse riding…

She is known as the Queen of Soaps, as she spent 41 years in the show, “All My Children.” Later, she gave information about her special life in her memoir, “All My Life.”

Her husband, Helmut Huber, was diagnosed with prostate cancer back in 2002. Until 2011, he fought with the cancer, and was free of it in that year. In 2019, Lucci underwent a heart operation for her main artery was 90% blocked.

As she was in a critical condition, she wanted to keep it private, as she was feeling embarrassed for she was not able to move much when the symptoms started to occur.

In 2022, Lucci had another health problem, which she underwent another heart operation. She decided to speak of it this time, as she wanted to raise awareness.

Few months after her operation, her husband lost his life in March of 2022.

She called Helmut the love of her life in one of her interviews, which took place in 2023. She explained that she is missing her husband of 53 years. She stated that she was not ready to date after losing him.

Even though she felt a lot of pain for the loss of her husband, she is still living a full life, where she is enjoying it with her friends.
