The First Lady Melania Trump unveiled her official White House portrait on January 27, and it caused quite a stir. Melania again chose black clothing for her official portrait for her second term as FLOTUS, but this time with a business edge. In 2017, Melania Trump wore all black and posed with crossed arms. The former model gazed at the camera in the full-color portrait with a bit of a smile. In 2025, Melania opted for a black-and-white picture and a black suit with a white collared shirt. She also struck a pose that appeared to be all business to some.
Melania Trump Stood Behind A Desk In Her Latest FLOTUS Portrait
Standing behind a desk in the White House, Melania’s portrait almost looks like she could be a character on her husband’s former reality show, The Apprentice. She evokes the spirit of power, and many people love it.
She posted the portrait on the official FLOTUS social media accounts, including Instagram. Many shared their thoughts in the comments section.
A fan wrote, “Stunning! Eloquent! Strong! Our 1st Lady! Again.”
This person agreed, “Welcome back! So very glad you’re our First Lady again!”
“She is the most beautiful and elegant first lady who has ever existed, the queen,” another commented.
Many took note of her stance. And this person thinks Melania Trump means business as the First Lady, “Don’t mess with Melania. Her outfits have telegraphed that she means business this time.”
But not everyone loved what they saw.
This person felt that Melania’s portrait looked too staged. “Why does she look like a stock photo for a wannabe corporate CEO?”
Someone else joked, “She looks like a mob wife, lol.”
Another person wrote, “Please warn us in advance before posting something like this.”
This person tried to be a neutral voice. “So lovely those who unfollow when the whole point of being an informed adult is knowing multiple points of views and not just living in an echo chamber with your own opinions being validated left and right. Seems people forget this is our government not celebrities even though they have made it seem like a circus.”
